Jan Bohlmann is a senior executive in operations and engineering and a mechanical engineer by trade. Jan holds a Master of Science degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, Victoria, B.C., Canada and a Diplom Ingenieur [M.Sc.] in Mechanical Engineering from the Technische Fachhochschule Berlin, Germany.
Jan started his career as manager of manufacturing engineering and initiated the Lean Manufacturing and Continued Improvement journey at paper-converting machine manufacturer Will Pemco in the 90’s. Soon thereafter, he received his Six Sigma Black Belt certificate while working for Amazon.com. Always looking to improve processes, Jan was awarded the Amazon Inventor Award and two patents for innovating CD and DVD order processing.
Jan’s engineering and operational experience gave him all the tools to successfully run Arrow Electronics North America’s Value Add operations as general manager. Currently, Jan is leading the innovation, development, implementation and life cycle management of Paxit, a proprietary automated medication dispensing system that delivers superior accuracy, efficiency and medication cost reduction. This system has transformed Remedi SeniorCare and is disrupting the long-term healthcare industry.
